Phishing Fraud Targeting American Express Consumers

Armorblox security scientists found a brand name brand-new phishing project targeting American Express consumers.
Risk stars sent out e-mails to entice American Express cardholders into opening an accessory and attempting to get access to their personal information and their accounts. Likewise, the hackers developed a phony setup procedure for an “American Express Personal Safe Secret” attack.

The e-mails sent out by hackers to consumers advised them to develop this account to safeguard their system from phishing attacks. As soon as you click the provided link, it takes you to a phony page that requests for personal information such as social security number, mom’s first name, date of birth, e-mail, and all American Express card information, consisting of codes and expiration date.

Furthermore, the group of danger stars crafted the fake web page wisely to look like the initial American Express login page, consisting of a logo design, a link to download the American Express app, and navigational links.
